Artist Statement:

I have created a new line of collages, which I call my “Zen Line.” They are made from luminescent fabric, paper and botanicals, shells, bamboo, wood veneer and more. Embellished with tiny beads, bits of glass and rhinestones, gold wire and threads, feathers, unexpected sparkles to enhance and emphasize key areas in the compositions. These works embrace my aesthetic of quiet, meditative work, meant to call the viewer to sit and relax and unwind, retreat from the hectic world and relax with a soothing work of art on your wall.
